While I almost always label my quilts, this last year was so busy that I didn’t get to attaching information to everything. That got me thinking about the ways we label our quilts, and I wanted to try something a little different. This tutorial is how I used the built-in alphabets on my sewing machine to add text to the binding itself.

What a fun evening we had with the American Heritage Girls.
The girls were working towards their sewing badge.
We had each girl on her own sewing machine and we got to know about our machine, we threaded them, wound a bobbin and then got to venture on into practicing sewing.
I would say that it was a success based on the enthusiasm and smiles.
Who knows what they will all create now that they know how to sew:)

Choosing the Correct Needle
The needle is one of the most important
parts of the sewing process. If the wrong
size and/or type is selected the machine
is simply not going to perform as
expected. Having a bent or dull ne😋edle or
not inserting it correctly will have the
same negative effects.
We stock a large variety of high quality needles.
Just give us a call and we can advise you on the best needle for you project.
